yvComment is the first native Joomla! 1.5 Commenting solution, and it's free. It has two required 'parts' (extensions): component + plugin, - and a lot of optional extensions (yvComment Module is optional also), so the resulted solution may be very simple or not - as You wish.
yvComment supports Captcha (secret word) extensions, Smileys, BBCodes, Avatars/Gravatars, WYSIWYG editor and many content plugins and tools, designed to work with Articles of Joomla! (e.g. Email Cloaking, GeSHi). yvComment allows users to add comments to Articles. Comments may be stored in the same table as other content, or in their own table.
When installed with the Updater, this package includes:
