iContact

iContact is one of the best auto-responder services on the planet. While a little pricier than other solutions, it is actually cheaper as an entry-level solution (icontact pricing plans start at $9.95 per month).

iContact is worth it. The ability to "segment" your email lists allow you to send your notifications to exactly the people who need them - slice and dice your lists the way you want them.

Intellispire supports iContact with three different Joomla components: the Joomla iContact Plugin, a version for Community Builder, and the Joomla iContact Signup form.

Which one is Right for Me?

Our plugins work "behind the scenes" to take your members contact information, and using the iContact API, send the members contact information to iContact when they register with your website.

Please note that if you are using Joomla 1.5, you should use our standard plugins - whether or not you use Community Builder on your website. Joomla 1.0 and Mambo sites require the extended functionality of Community Builder to work correctly.

The iContact signup form is a subscribe box that shows on the page, as you see above right, "Stay Current for Free". Signup forms are available only for Joomla! 1.5. Our signup modules have two modes of operation: advanced (where your prospect never leaves the page they are on), and standard where they are redirected to the page of your choice - normally a "thank you" page or similar.
