Everybody Benefits

As a developer, you simply package your software into a package compatible with the Joomla! Package Manager (for easy installation), and provide the package and related data to Intellispire. We then test it, and if approved, put it on the network where it shows up in the users "Add Software" client. Uses can than install the package (including all necessary components, plugins, modules, templates and language files) with a single click.

The Marketplace

One of the great things about Joomla! is that in addition to a thriving Open Source community, there are commercially supported packages as well. The Intellispire Network is optimized for delivering those commercial packages directly to consumers - and getting you paid.

By integrating the Amazon Flexible Payments Service directly into the network, we can get you paid at the point where your users install your software.

How it Works

1. accept the marketplace agreement and pay the initial setup fee
2. Provide us the software package, marketing material and price you'd like to charge for the extension
3. After testing and approval, we place it on the network
4. Before a user can install your software, they must purchase through Amazon Flexible Payments
5. Amazon transfers the payment directly to your account, after deducting the marketplace and FPS fees
6. We authorize the users account to install the software
7. You continue to provide customer support as usual

Requirements

• Must run on Joomla 1.5 (legacy or native mode)
• Must be packaged in a package, and commit to supporting future package format as released [details]
• Must be updateable [new package version coming to address this concern]
• You must provide direct customer support, as well as provide us with all updates in a timely manner
• Each package must be approved, we reserve the right to reject any package for any reason
• Your pricing must be the the same or lower than they can find on your website or other marketplaces. You may not charge Intellispire Network customers more than you do other customers.

Marketplace Fees

There is a one time setup fee per product, plus a per sale fee (for commercial products).

We are currently looking for 1-2 flagship vendors to provide their products through the Intellispire Network, and will significantly reduce marketplace fees for qualified vendors in order for you to try us out. In addition, we'd like to do joint marketing: press releases, announcements on Amazon that you are a FPS/Marketplace user, etc.
