With the recent release of Joomla! 1.6, we're wondering about the adoption rate. And you may be wondering, too.

The current results seem to reflect the following facts: while most people have responded that they plan to build new sites with Joomla 1.6, and in general are pleased with the direction Joomla! is moving, only one of our respondants had actually installed it. This seems to indicate that Joomla! 1.6 is going to be very slow adoption.

After more than two years of development, Joomla! 1.6 has been released today. As a major release, this release is not an upgrade, rather, you must migrate your database using the built in tools.

Intellispire is pleased to announce the release of the AWeber Jomlink v4

This software allows you to connect your AWeber account to Joomla in two ways:

• First, by connecting a form to any module position, you can create an "opt in" form
• Second, you can connect your user registration from through the plugin utilizing AWeber's email parser

v4 increases support for both the latest Community Builder and Jomsocial, while fully supporting php 5.3

A minor bug was fixed that prevented user registration from happening in some cases when "new user account avtivation" was enabled.
